From 7AM-9AM

Set-up crew members play a critical role in ensuring the market gets up and running in time for our early morning shoppers. Our ideal volunteers are people who consider themselves morning people who are ready and willing to get to work. You will excel if you’re able to take direct instructions while working quickly, intentionally, and safely.

This position requires heavy lifting (up to 80 lbs short distances). We require our crew members to wear closed-toed shoes while volunteering.

Benefits of this shift are that you get the be the first shoppers of the day, plus you know our volunteer coffee is still full and piping hot!

Shifts from 9AM-11AM and 11AM-1PM

This is a public-facing volunteer position that plays a crucial role in achieving our market’s mission of food access. This role is done seated under the shade/cover of a canopy.

Shifts from 9AM-11AM and 11AM-1PM

The role of volunteer Market Assistant is for anyone who wants to help create a positive experience for our market community! Our ideal volunteers are excited to move around the market space addressing various needs and tasks like counting shoppers, checking in with vendors, and keeping the market space clean and tidy. This role requires the ability to move around the market space which is flat pavement with speed bumps.

From 1PM-3PM

Help make the market disappear! Breakdown crew members play a crucial role in ensuring the market is broken down and stored away quickly at the end of the market day. Our ideal volunteers are people who can work quickly, efficiently, and safely. You will excel if you’re able to work independently after learning the requirements of the role.
