  • Info Booth

    You can find our market information booth right in the center of the market, on the park side of the street. Visit our information booth to:

    - Purchase market tokens including SNAP tokens

    - Ask questions or give feedback

    - Donate to the market

    - Sign up for our volunteer list or newsletter

    - and more!

  • We love your pets!

    Pets are allowed at our market during all hours, but must on a 6ft or shorter leash and in your control the entire visit. Water bowls are available near the Info Booth. Please pickup after your pets.

    Please respect other patrons' choice not to interact with your pets. Do not allow pets to jump up or interact with the market booths.

    When the temperature is above 80° F, please consider leaving your pet as home as the pavement temperatures can be unsafe for paws!

  • Accessibility

    The market is located on a closed street with flat pavement. There are curbcuts leading from the street into the neighboring park or sidewalk.

    The Info Booth always has a first aid kit, hand sanitizer, KN-95 masks, a hand wash station, and drinking water available.

    If you need any further accommodations, please let anyone in a green apron know and we’ll do our best!

  • Location Ammenities

    The market is located within the vicinity of Glenhaven Park, McDaniel High School, and the Glenhaven Community Garden.

    Located at Glenhaven Park is a playground and public restrooms. While the market is not responsible for these restrooms, we can provide feedback to Portland Parks and Rec to keep them clean and available for market use.

    We provide bike parking for your own bike and there is a Biketown hub in the market. 

Market Currencies

Aside from cash and card, there are many other types of currency options at the market!

Market tokens

Treated like cash, these tokens come in $5 increments and cash can be given as change. These never expire and can only be used at our market.

SNAP tokens

You can use your EBT food stamps at the market! Simply trade your food stamps for tokens at the Info Booth and then spend them on food like you would at a grocery store. These never expire but can only be used at the market they come from.

We also match SNAP up to $20 per market day!

Farm Direct Vouchers

These $4 vouchers are sent to WIC and income eligible seniors to spend on fresh local produce. Spend these directly with farmers at the market like you would cash. No change is given for these.

Double Up Food Bucks

These come in $2 increments and are given as matching for SNAP. They expire at the end of the year and can be used at any participating markets.

Produce Match

These also come in $2 increments but are given as matching for EBT Cash. They expire at the end of the year and can be used at any participating markets.

Kids’ Tokens

These $5 tokens are for kids only! They come from participating in our Kid’s Patch activity and are meant for kids to spend however they like. No change can be given for these.
